week 17 final post

Good afternoon everyone,

Sadly, this is my last post for this semester. For this last post I would like to sum up everything I

learned from my  CSIT 155 class on Social Media for Business. I learned so much about social media

 as it applies to business. These lesson I learn from this class will be useful for any business to grow.

Therefore, I have a better understanding of how to use this knowledge to successfully develop a

business. On any social media outlet there are many tools to grow a business. For example, to track

how many viewers visit yours business website a tool will show you that data. However to use the

most popular social media platform is not easy since, that is  constantly changing. This shows a

business must adapt to any change on social media to be successful online.

With that being said, my viewpoint of social media changed. I understand more that social is a must

 for any business to grow off and online. For example,Google map is a great way to add directions to

 your locate of business. Social media is more then a outlet more and more often now social media

platforms are being used as business growth platforms.

However, I currently don't have any business I wish to promote. So, I didn't find any social media for

businesses, services and products that I would use right now. But, I'm sure that this knowledge will

benefit me in my future business advances. One thing I would be aware of is to successfully promote

 a business on a social medial platform takes time and  energy to find out what works best for the

 business person as well as the business. For example what time, what information, how often, and

what tools to check are some of the things to thinks about.

I enjoyed learning about social media for business, this class thought me a lot on that subject. I look

 forward to  learning more about computers and business in general. This lessons I learned from this

class I would carry with me though-out my life. In business one lesson is a must follow the money 

(people) and your business with grow, social media is prove of that. Therefore, word of mouth is still

 a great way to grow a business also.

Week 15

Good Afternoon everyone,

I'm back for another blog post, which I hope you might enjoy reading. Today, I will write about

Google analytics tools anyone can use to grow a business. For example, to grow my business I would

 use. First of all any and every analytics tool is great for every business especially mine which is a

small business. With that been said I would use every and any analytics tool available which, will

allow me to better understand my customers as far as their likes, dislikes, how well my visited, and

etc. But sadly time is a factor in which tool I use, sine their is only 24 hours in a day. As far the most

 beneficial which I would check on a daily bases, I have to say page views, engagement,

conversations, Goals,  and , Real-Time. I would start slow with tools so I don't overwhelm myself

with more information.

week 12

Good afternoon,

Welcome back to another blog post. Today we will talk about other social media tool to help grow a business. For example, for my business I believe the following online marketing tools will help mine as well as any business grow:
  • Goggle+
  • LinkedIn
  • Goggle maps
  • Yelp
I chose these four additional tools, for their professional audience and attraction. I would integrate them into my current strategy, by inducting my customers into these tools slow on by on as my business grows in popularity. I do that since I would not see a need to overwhelm myself as well as my current customers will more ways to reach my business. I will start with Goggle+ since, anything Google in the name is well known and easy to locate. With a  Goggle account you already have access to tons of tools to grown a business.

Week 10 pt2

Good afternoon everyone,
Welcome back friends

To create categories for all your post is great for your business. By creating categories for your post you will help your business grow and stay focused and organized on your business goals.

For example I chose to create many categories for my business to remind me of the purpose and all the goals I have for my business. I also would spit all my viewers into categories by age, serious customers, business partners, potential clients,  and potential customers. Also I would create a category based on every special  day for my business anniversary, every goal my business reaches, and every business news.

By creating categories I'll be able to focus my attention more on my viewers whom are better for business. Whether then blogging just to blog, I will have a purpose to and share what information to post  in my blog.  Also remind me of special days for my business to share.

Week 10 pt 1

Good afternoon everyone

Welcome back to another interesting  Blog post.

 Today, I will talk about why and how is Blogging a great tool for business. To blog for business it is very importance to add some human interest to your post in order to appeal to others, so you will reach a wider audience. By adding human interest you built a common relationship with your viewers. Also by adding human interest to  your blog  you allow your audience to get to know you on a personal level. Most important you learn from your customers and create business network opportunities.

Therefore, it always make sense to add a personal touch  to your post, because you will built trust with your viewers that is great for business. Also, by adding a personal touch to your post you will appeal to people's emotion even further in doing so you drive traffic to your business website. 

However, not every time you add a personal touch to your post you will receive a positon reaction towards your business. To add a person touch you need to be the owner  or key player within the business to position yourself as a expert that your viewers want and need to hear from. Even a key player within the business does not always have to add a personal touch to every post especially if the business is saturated with other key players doing the same.

week 9 pt 2

welcome back friends,

I have started a Twitter account, to help grow my business. In my twitter page I follow people and companies in order to promote my business. For example, I use the key word "books", I found  Book Club and Penguin Book USA. Both Penguin Books USA and Book Club are great potential customers and good business collaborators. I also use the key word "publish", I found Open Book Publishers which seems great for cross promotion. In order to find more potential customers in my city, I used the key word Oceanside. I found BN Oceanside ad Oceanside Unified. Both are great leads to potential customers as well as great cross promotional.

I then send a few tweets to promote my business. I send out tweets at different times and days of the week and weekend. I did this in order to find out what time is my tweets so likely to be most effective. I found out the time to tweet for business is in the afternoon during the week. In doing so more customers will see my tweets.

I also created 2 list, one for customers the other is for businesses. Within each list I added 2 people, in doing so I become more organized and focused on a goal to a grow my business. Creating a list is a great way to get your business noticed by others.

Week 8 pt 2

Hello friends,
Today we will talk more about the use of visual social media for business. Based upon my research I found out many method that ways to grow my business, by using some method showed by similar businesses to mine.

First, I found out Barnes & Noble, which is a similar business to mine. Barnes & Nobles uses many forms of visual social media including Instagram. This business writes post very often. For example their last post was one day ago. They also have a total of 1392 posts, so posting often is a huge method to grow a business. As far as followers this company has 373 Thousand, with 817 following. On their post they receive many comments, showing an active audience.

Next Penguin books Publisher is a similar business to mine. This company has a total of 895 posts, proving more post more growth of business. Instagram is their one method of visual social media. They post often, for example last post was 1 day ago. Followers are 204 thousands, with 623 following. This business also receives many comments on they post, proving active relationship with they audience.Thus, this a important key to grow a business that I mast use.

Next, Amazon bookstore a similar business to  mine. They use Instagram as one form of visual social media, with 507 followers plus 43 total posts. They don't post often, last post was 6 days ago. Also they have 17 following, with 15 comments. This shows to grow a business post to grow a relation with your audience, not just many post.

Last, Books & books is a company similar to mine. they also use Instagram to grow their business. They have a total of 1871 posts, last post was 8 hours ago. They have 21 comments per post, meaning active usage is a must to grow a business. They have 67.2 thousand followers, with 1555 Following. Meaning a well established presence on your visual social media is a good business move.
